If a customer comes in with a slow computer and all they need is to have some of their startup processes disabled, which takes 30 seconds, you'll be written up for not selling them a geek squad appointment. The issues arise when it comes to advancement in the company and the desire to sell rather than help. Customers are typically reasonable enough (although you know how that can be), and are easy to work with. Managers are typically great people and fun to be around. If you enjoy tech, you'll be in good company. Best part about the job is the people you work with. ![]()
